This makes the i3+ a good option for those who want an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but aren't afraid of taking the time to empty their robot's trash bin when it fills up.
Both robots do well picking up surface debris off carpets and hard floors and they're excellent at getting around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home, which help the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. The i3+ does not have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or any other top-rated robots that we tested. It can get stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between surfaces, such as carpet and hardwood.
iRobot suggests that you clean up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other items it might encounter. It's also a good idea to keep the dustbin and filter clear so they aren't clogged by dirt. When the i3+'s internal bin is filled or the battery is empty, it returns to its docking station, automatically emptying its dirt into the station's dust bin and continues cleaning where it started. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and it takes around three hours to fully recharge.

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model in iRobot's flagship line and has the most up-to-date features. It's self-charging, self-navigating and the most important feature of all -- it has an auto-emptying dustbin, which eliminates one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba i7+ is able to remember up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, an application that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and it can control your robot via the app or via voice.
The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy the dust bin is self-emptying that eliminates a major cause of maintenance and cuts down on recurring costs.
We were also impressed with the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to begin or stop cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. Once connected to these services, we were able use the i7+'s voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world of cordless vacs that feel like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an automobile. It's powerful and has features to replace a stand-up vacuum in the majority of households, but it also fits perfectly next to the coffee table or shelves where you can wave it around like the magic tool.
The V10 is powered by seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries that can provide power without fading for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filter system traps allergens, then lets cleaner air into your home. Its cleaning head is specially designed and drives stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to collect large dust and crumbs. It has three suction modes to meet the task that is being completed. It is able to swiftly switch from handheld to floor vacuum and vice versa.

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it lacks the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models like our top selections such as the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. Because of this, it may get stuck on things like phone cords or furniture that isn't in good condition, and frequently will run out of battery before returning to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in many ways in that it has fewer parts that require regular maintenance It also comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, has lower recurring costs, has more advanced automation capabilities and does a better job moving itself. It also has a larger dustbin and can charge faster.
The eufy RoboVac X8 has a superior battery life than the Roomba. smart vacuum cleaner has physical boundaries strips that can be controlled using the voice assistant on your smartphone. It's also more durable, has a stronger motor, and can perform better on floors with bare or low-pile.
5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+
Samsung is a well-known brand in the field of home electronics. It's not a surprise that they are also among the top producers of robot vacuums and mop. Their Jet Bot AI+ is packed with cutting-edge onboard tech for navigation and obstacles avoidance.
The app provides plenty of options to customize your robotic cleaner, including virtual barriers mopping water levels, behavior modification, docking frequency settings, and more. It's easy to understand and user-friendly, as is the case with other Samsung devices.
In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors, and also handled dog hair (on carpet) very well, picking up 86% of it. It didn't do very well in avoiding taller items like socks or cords. This was disappointing. It's priced higher than other models we've tested, and this could be a deterrent for some shoppers.
